NightRide late-night, curb-to-curb taxi service operates within the City of Ann Arbor and east to downtown Ypsilanti between Clark Road/East Huron River Drive on the north and Ellsworth Road/Michigan Avenue on the south. – See Map
When It Runs
Monday – Friday: midnight – 6am
Saturday: 8pm – 7:30am
Sunday 7pm – 7:30am
No trip requests are taken after 5:15am Monday – Friday (5am for trips outside of Ann Arbor) and 6:45am on Saturday/Sunday (6:30am outside of Ann Arbor). To reserve your ride, please continue to call (734) 528-5432.
How to Ride
Advance reservations are strongly encouraged for trips that begin or end outside Ann Arbor.
Advance reservations can be made the day before your trip by calling 734.528.5432 or emailing [email protected].
Please provide the following trip information:
- Your name
- Your telephone number
- Earliest pick-up time
- Your pick-up location
- Location where you are going
- Number of passengers (including any non-paying children)
- If you are using a car seat or wheelchair
- If you want a call-back when the cab is arriving
Once you have made an advance reservation, please call to confirm your trip at least 60 minutes before requested pickup time (leave a message if this is before service begins).
Service requests for trips outside Ann Arbor without an advance reservation may be denied; trips will only be provided if space is available on scheduled trips and will have a $2 added fare.
What It Costs
$5.00 standard fare per trip, cash only.
Passengers may be required to have exact change.
$2.50 per person with AATA Senior or A-Ride identification card issued by TheRide.
(+) $2.00 per person additional charge for trips that begin or end outside Ann Arbor without an advance reservation.
(-) $2.00 discount funded by the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for riders with go!Pass for trips beginning or ending in Ann Arbor DDA area – not including University of Michigan campuses/buildings.
One child age 5 or younger is free.
